From the Pen of ‘Allamah Binnoriy (rahimahullah)

The following is an abstract in which Muhaddithul ‘Asr, ‘Allamah Binnoriy (rahimahullah) illustrates that the Quran and the Hadith are inseparable, contrary to the ideology of Hadith rejection:

There is absolutely no possibility that the Holy Quran and Hadith Sharif can be separated from each other, nor is it possible to believe in the Holy Quran and reject the Hadith Sharif.
The reason for this is that the Holy Quran repeatedly expresses the fact that salvation lies in following Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) and disobeying him leads to destruction and ruin. The Quran Sharif gives the most severe warnings against opposing Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam), whilst it promotes his lifestyle as a model and example for the Ummah.

The Quran Karim has mandated Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) to teach, interpret and explain the Quran [i.e., in the form of the Hadith Sharif]. The result is that salvation, happiness, and prosperity in this world and the Hereafter lies in following [the Hadith of] Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam).
Furthermore, the true measure of love and obedience to Allah Ta’ala is solely in adherence to the Sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam):

قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ‎﴿٣١﴾‏
( آل عمران: ٣١)

Say, “If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will then love you and forgive your sins. And Allah is most forgiving, most merciful.
(Surah: Alu ‘Imran, Verse: 31)

الغرض اس کا کوئی امکان نہیں کہ قرآن وحدیث کو ایک دوسرے سے جدا کیا جا سکے نہ یہ ممکن ہے کہ قرآن کریم پر ایمان ہو اور حدیث نبوی سے انکار، کیونکہ قرآن کریم بار بار اس حقیقت کا اظہار کرتا ہے کہ حضرت رسول الله صلی اللہ علیہ سلم کی اتباع میں تمہاری نجات ہے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نافرمانی تباہي و بربادی کا موجب ہے، آپ کی مخالفت پر قرآن کریم سخت سے سخت وعیدیں سناتا ہے، آپ کی زندگی کو امت کے لئے اسوۂ نمونہ قرار دیتا ہے، قرآن کی تعلیم وتشریح اور اس کے اجمال کی تفصیل کو قر آن آپ کا فرض منصبی بتاتا ہے، حاصل یہ کہ دنیا و آخرت کی نجات و سعادت اور فلاح و بہبود آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی پیروی میں ہے اور حق تعالیٰ کی محبت و اطاعت کا معیار بھی آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی متابعت کے سوا کچھ نہیں :

قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّوْنَ الله فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوْ بَكُمْ
[آل عمران : ۳۱]

ان سے کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر تم اللہ تعالیٰ سے محبت کرتے ہو تو میری پیروی کرو اللہ تعالیٰ تم سے محبت کرے گا اور تمہارے گناہ معاف فرمائے گا۔
