إن الله يأمر بالعدل والإحسان وإيتاء ذي القربى وينهى عن الفحشاء والمنكر والبغي, يعظكم لعلكم تذكرون
Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.
(Surah An Nahl, verse: 90)
The purpose of the cycle of life and death is to test who would do the best of deeds.
Many verses exhort us to this quality of Ihsan (doing good).
Ihsan has two meaning:
- To do something meticulously, in the best manner
- To do good/be kind to the next person
