Kitabullah and Sunnah of Nabiy (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam)
We have the Shari’ah, a code of laws and the Sunnah, the way of life of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam). This is the criteria of right and wrong, good and bad, virtue and vice. If an action conforms with the Shari’ah and Sunnah, it will be acceptable, if the action does not conform, it will be rejected. This was the general rule over the centuries and is the gauge of acceptance of any action. If we hold fast to this rule, we shall not go astray, insha Allah.
