Three Things for Protection from Fitnah

Sayyiduna ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir (radiyallahu’anhu) enquired from Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) as to what to do for salvation [from fitnah]?
Nabiy (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said: “Guard your tongue, remain in your home and cry over your sins.”
