إن الذي ليس في جوفه شيء من القرآن كالبيت الخرب
.The one who has no portion of the Quran in his heart is like a barren house
(Sunan Tirmidhiy)

Just as an empty house which attracts unwanted intruders and has no safety and security, in the like manner a person who doesn’t have any Quran in his life is filled with evil thoughts, influences and is devoid of nur (light).
