The Immense Blessings of Salutations (Durud)

Sending salutations (Durud) upon the Rasulullah (sallallahu ’alayhi wasallam) is a fundamental duty for every believer, a practice that brings immense spiritual and worldly benefits. Durud holds a special significance on Thursday nights and Fridays, as the salutations offered during this time are presented directly to Rasulullah (sallallahu ’alayhi wasallam), and one’s name is mentioned to him—a unique and unparalleled honour.
